Sportsman's Guide offered them for about $100.00. It doesn't appear to have absorbed any bullets, the velcro is good as new but the elastic is slightly stretched by use.....it does not smell. Of course S.G. sold it specifically stating they wouldn't guarantee its effectiveness, but I just couldn't resist the price.
